American Eagle Insurance Agency  has been in the same East Point, GA location since 1971.

American Eagle Insurance Agency is family owned. Agents Chester Moore and Melinda Moore share over 73 combined years of insurance experience to better serve our Georgia neighbors.


Chester Moore started in the insurance business in 1964, with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. He formed his own agency , Pioneer Insurance Agency, in 1971. He bought the American Eagle Insurance Agency in 1981, and
merged the two.  





Melinda Moore joined her father in the agency in 1980, and handles auto, home, and other insurance, as well as managing the office computers. 








We are ably assisted by  Dolores Moore, who has been with the agency since its founding. Dolores is the bookkeeper for American Eagle.

The friendly voice who will answer your call is Elva Ferguson. Elva was an American Eagle customer for many years before joining the agency as a
customer service rep.





Our big wooden eagle, carved by a north Georgia Cherokee, is a local landmark for miles around.
