Latest information on the Fort McPherson base closure redevelopment plan:

Link to the most recent (2011) version of the Fort McPherson Redevelopment Plan. Fort Mac will close 9-15-2011. Please note, the images in this report are confusing. It's anyone's guess if this is deliberate or not. Most of the map images refer to the original plan. Only a few show the more recent, "final" version. I'm sorry, but if this is a final version, it would make sense to provide residents and other interested parties a clear, unequivocable final map, rather than muddy the waters with information that is no longer of interest.

This  is a 2006 PDF for a report the City of East Point commissioned. They mention the BRAC base closure of Fort McPherson several times, specifically anticipating growth and changes in traffic patterns, and how to accomodate them.
